01 — Walk-throughs

Five passes through the same phone.

The handset is this page’s copy of the public example, with the same jobs. Tabs work. Cards open. Chase ticks last for this visit only. For the real dialler, use the live example.

  1. One job is already on site. East Lismore, 7:00, urgent call-out, Alex and Sam. Goonellabah’s install starts at 8:30. Alstonville warranty is queued behind the call-out, Ballina’s service is this afternoon, and Casino waits on materials until Friday.

    Open the call-out. The note says isolate it, diagnose it, and make it safe. The proper fix waits on parts.

  2. Five quotes are in play, $54,080 altogether. Walsh in East Ballina accepted $14,200 yesterday. Baker and Chen are still out. Kelly’s repair is a draft on the yard phone.

    Singh in Wollongbar was sent an install and a service plan eight days ago. No reply. The card is marked going cold. It is $6,900, and it is already the first line on Chase — call Singh — so it does not have to be remembered from an inbox.

  3. Alex Rivera runs quotes and is on the East Lismore call-out. Sam Crowe stays with that job, then the Alstonville warranty. Jordan Hale does the Goonellabah install, then the Ballina service. Casey Hale is in the office on invoices and follow-ups.

  4. The week on the sample shows $18,640 billed and $9,200 collected. Still showing as out: $29,420. Patel cleared Monday. Ryan’s invoice 1044, the East Lismore call-out, is 12 days overdue. Walsh’s deposit of $7,100 is due. McLeod is on stage 2.

02 — Integrations

What it connects to.

The public example already hands a few things to the yard phone. A live crew usually asks for more. Those are listed second, and they are not switched on.

On the example

  • Home screen

    Add to Home Screen and it opens without the browser bar, like an app on the yard phone. The shell is cached, so the board still opens if the wifi drops. The jobs are the sample, not a live feed.

  • Calls

    Every job, quote, person and invoice has a call action. On the live example it opens the dialler. The number is 0400 000 000. This page tells you that instead of dialling.

  • Chase actions

    The list is labelled Call, SMS, Send and Book. Mark done is remembered in that browser on the live example. The text, the email and the booking are not sent.

  • No login

    One phone, no account. There is a light and dark theme, same as this page. Nothing is shared with another device.

Not connected — ask, and we scope it

  • Xero or MYOB

    So the Money screen is the same list as the ledger, not a sample week. Not wired up.

  • An SMS line

    So “text Ryan” about invoice 1044 actually texts. The button is there. The message does not leave the phone.

  • The crew calendar

    So Friday’s Casino job shows on the calendar the vans already use, not only on the board. Times on the example stay on the example.

  • Office and van together

    The example is one browser, on purpose. A shared board is a separate piece of work.
